From high school classmates who couldn't stop arguing to soulmates who can't stop laughing — this is how our forever began.
Where it all began
First Encounters
Billie and Kevin first met in 2010, right after Kevin moved to Connecticut from Haiti following the earthquake. Being Haitian and in the same honors classes, naturally the school paired them together — but they didn't exactly hit it off… at first.
They were friends who bumped heads more than anything else.
Prom & Predictions
Fast forward to prom season — Kevin asked Billie to go. She said no. Why? Because he told her she should take him instead (classic Kevin energy).
They stayed friends through graduation, and their yearbook even predicted that one day, they'd date — though Billie swore they should just stay friends!

Reconnected
College Reconnection
After college, Billie and Kevin reconnected. Though they'd gone to schools in different states, they started hanging out, catching up, and just enjoying each other's company.
Nothing romantic yet — just friendship and laughter.
Life Happens
Fall 2020 hit hard. Billie's mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and with COVID restrictions, she spent long hours at the hospital alone. Kevin lived just a few blocks away and became her rock while she waited.
Sadly, her mom passed in February 2021. Soon after, Billie and Kevin drifted apart for a few months. But life had a way of bringing them back together.
By September 2021, they were hanging out again — and this time, things started to feel different. Sparks were flying.

Inseparable
Love Takes Off
Sparks became undeniable around Kevin's birthday on December 7th. Soon after, around the holidays, Billie got sick with COVID and couldn't be with her family.
During this time, Kevin checked on her, dropped off food, and made sure she was okay. Later on, Billie booked a solo trip to Curaçao for MLK weekend to escape the cold — and Kevin insisted on joining.
From that trip on, they became inseparable.April 30th became official.
Happily Ever After
From that moment forward, Billie and Kevin started living together, building a life side by side.
On Christmas Day 2025, Kevin proposed in NYC — and the rest, as they say, is happily ever after.
